IT Supercut Combining Both Films In The Works

We are little over two weeks away from the release of It: Chapter II and as the anticipation continues to grow, there is a rumor that a super cut is in the works. Fans of the original novel know that Stephen King‘s It is a hefty book.

There’s so much story in this book that in both adaptations, the 1990 miniseries, and the 2017 and 2019 films had to split the material into two parts. It looks looks as though as director Andy Muschietti is cutting together an It supercut containing both films. Muschietti told SFX magazine,

“The possibilities are open,”

“There’s a version where the two movies are cut together. There’s a version where there’s a special director’s cut of number one and a special director’s cut of number two. And I’m happy to basically work on every one of them.”

IT: Chapter II will be released September 6th.
