The DCEU has been quiet in the recent weeks, however, one if its upcoming films may have found their director. Christopher McQuarrie, who is best known for directing Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is the favorite to direct the upcoming DCEU film, Green Lantern Corps.
While the lead in the film has not been cast, Warner Bros. is reportedly still looking to make the film, which is intended to be a buddy cop movie. It will feature Hal Jordan and John Stewart as the ritual characters and Christopher McQuarrie is rumored to potentially join the project, which previously had Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt attached, however, he resigned from the project.
Time will tell on whether or not the film gets made. However, if it does and McQuarrie lands the job as director, there may be home that the DCEU may dish out at least one more solid entry into their failing film universe.
