The trailer for Gemini Man has dropped and it looks like Will Smith is at war with his younger self.
The film is helmed by Ang Lee and it sees Will Smith playing an assassin tasked with hunting down his own clone. Smith will pull double duty to portray both roles, with Lee using de-aging VFX—similar to the technology used in Captain Marvel and The Irishman—to portray the 50-year-old actor hunting down is 23-year-old self. Gemini Man marks the latest leap in Lee’s technological tinkering. The Academy-Award-winner shot his last film, the war drama Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, in 4K and at 120 frames-per-second.
Gemini Man also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen, Benedict Wong, and Douglas Hodge & I’m intrigued enough to see what it has to offer.
