Game of Thrones Prequel Casts 8 Up and Coming Stars

With the final season of Game of Thrones quickly approaching, HBO is already casting the show’s prequel series. The latest casting news comes as the network just released a preview of its upcoming slew of shows.

The upcoming prequel has cast eight rising stars to join Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse in the pilot from writers Jane Goldman and franchise mastermind George R.R. Martin. Cast as series regulars are Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, Georgie Henley, Alex Sharp, and Toby Regbo.

Details about their characters are being kept under wraps as with most Game of Thrones character information. The upcoming prequel will be set thousands of years before the events of the current series.
