Friends Will Continue On Nick At Nite Under New Syndication Deal

Friends will continue in reruns for the foreseeable future as Nickelodeon has renewed their syndication deal to keep Friends airing on Nick At Nite. The agreement is part of a multi-year, multi-series deal that includes several renewals of top-rated syndicated series from Warner Bros. Television that air across ViacomCBS’ portfolio of cable networks.

Nick At Nite is celebrating the new deal with a Super-Stuffed Friends-Giving, a lineup of classic Friends episodes airing throughout the week, and a marathon of Thanksgiving-themed episodes on Thursday. This will begin on Monday, November 23, at 9:00 PM (ET/PT). Year to date, Nick at Nite ranks as cable’s top network with Women 18-49 and is also currently delivering its highest share of Adults 18-49 since 2017. The new syndication deal will also include Young Sheldon, scheduled to begin on Nick At Nite on Monday, November 30.

Friends currently streams on HBO Max, which is the official streaming home for the popular comedy series. The streamer is also gearing up to shoot a Friends reunion special which will be unscripted and will reunite David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Jennifer Aniston. The reunion’s shooting was delayed back in August doe to the COVID-19 pandemic but Matthew Perry revealed on Twitter that they will be filming the reunion in early 2021.
