A new trailer for Free Guy has been released and the most significant thing about it is that, at the moment, it’s still keeping its December 11 theatrical release date.
In Free Guy, Reynolds plays a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, and he decides to become the hero of his own story, determined to save his world before it is too late. Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi also star. Free Guy was originally slated to open over the summer but was delayed until December 11 as studios began shifting releases due to the global pandemic. Many thought Free Guy would move its date yet again but it looks like it’s staying put so far.
This looks like the film we need right now as it looks like harmless fun & we could all use a little fun right now. Free Guy hits screens (hopefully) on December 11.
