One of the year’s most anticipated films, Da 5 Bloods hits Netflix on Friday. Before the film’s release, folks were able to screen the film and as of 9:00 am EST, the embargo has lifted on the latest Spike Lee Joint and by the looks of it, the first Oscar player of the season has arrived.
#Da5Bloods is incredible. Clearly a passion project for Spike Lee, and he puts everything he has into it. The ensemble is truly stellar, allowing each player plenty of moments to shine, but make no mistake: Delroy Lindo is the star here. Fully expect an acting nom headed his way.

An essential movie for our times, #Da5Bloods looks back not just on the injustices of the Vietnam War, but also the tragedies we still see to this day. As a one two punch with #BlacKkKlansman, it’s really something. The latest @SpikeLeeJoint hits #Netflix on Friday. #SpikeLee

DA 5 BLOODS paints a thematically rich portrait of race & war against the backdrop of a tense exchange featuring flawed characters

"Spike Lee's deeply-affecting, soul-searing drama #Da5Bloods is layered filmmaking, destined to deepen over time upon each viewing." With an award-worthy performance by Delroy Lindo & a soundtrack set to Marvin Gaye, it hits. My review via @FreshFictionTV: https://t.co/ODoePbKdqe
