Fantastic Beasts Sequels Won’t All Focus On Newt Scamander

While Fantastic Beasts is poised to turn into another franchise, don’t expect Newt to play a major role in every film. Apparently, more stars will be revealed into the franchise soon enough.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, producer David Heyman was asked whether Eddie Redmayne’s role would always be at the franchise’s heart. Heyman stated that wouldn’t be the case.

“I don’t think [Newt will be at] the heart of all of them. I think he’ll be part — so will Tina, Queenie and Jacob — will be part of the next one,”

Heyman also said that Albus Dumbledore would be joining the series as well, and the wise wizard would surely steal a hoard of fans to his side.

What are your thoughts on the lack of Newt in the upcoming sequels?
