Evan Peters Reportedly Joining Marvel’s Wandavision In An Undisclosed Role

In what may be the start of not only the multiverse but the arrival of the X-Men, Evan Peters (American Horror Story) is reportedly set to appear in Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series WandaVision.

The news, according to Murphys Multiverse reported that Peters joined the series late last year and filmed his scenes shortly after. As of now, it is unknown what role Peters is playing, but the site says it is a key role. It’s hard to imagine Marvel Studio’s not taking advantage of Peter’s previous role in the Fox Marvel Universe as Peters famously played Wanda’s brother, Pietro, a.k.a. Quicksilver, in the X-Men franchise.

If Marvel Studios has decided to surprise the world and cast Peters as Pietro, it would indeed be the first sign of crossing the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It has previously been rumored that Quicksilver would play some role in WandaVision. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played the character in Avengers: Age of Ultron, has confirmed he wouldn’t be suiting up for role anytime soon.

Paul Bettany reprises the role of Vision and Elizabeth Olsen returns to her role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, as they become the perfect married 50’s, nuclear family. The series is also rumored to have shot in front of a live studio audience and will pay homage to the multi-camera sitcom comedies throughout television history, including the iconic I Love Lucy.

WandaVision is expected to debut on Disney+ later this year.
