HBO has released the teaser trailer for their high school drama, Euphoria and, judging from the teaser, the series will explore the darker side of the high school experience.
Along with the teaser, HBO announced a June 16 release date for the series which will consist of eight episodes. The Zendaya starring drama follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship. HBO picked up the pilot to series last July.
Joining Zendaya is an ensemble cast that includes Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith, and Sydney Sweeney.
