Entertainment Weekly Reunites Cast Of Angel For 20th Anniversary

Much like they did with the likes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson’s Creek, “Entertainment Weekly” has reunited the cast of the Buffy spinoff, Angel. They cast graces the cover along with a solo cover for star, David Boreanaz.

The cast was reunited for the June 28th issue of the magazine, bringing back fellow co-stars such as Charisma Carpenter, Alexis Denisof, Amy Acker, J. August Richards & James Marsters. The issue comes on the heels of the announcement that the cast of Angel, minus Angel himself, will be reuniting at New York Comic-Con this year.

Angel, coming from Buffy creator Joss Whedon, premiered on October 5, 1999 and ran for five successful seasons. The show solidified David Boreanaz as a network TV star, as the actor has not been without a series roles since he began on Buffy the Vampire Slayer back in 1997. He currently leads the CBS drama SEAL Team, which is heading into its third season.
