Emily Blunt Cast Alongside Dwayne Johnson In Disney’s Jungle Cruise

Emily Blunt has officially signed on to star opposite Dwayne Johnson in Disney’s Jungle Cruise. The film is based on the Disney World ride and was originally written by Star Trek 4 writers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, with the latest draft from Michael Green, who just picked up a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar nomination for Logan.

This film will keep Blunt in business for Disney once again. The actress is starring as the charming Nanny in the upcoming Rob Marshall-directed Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to the 1964 film Mary Poppins.

No word on who her character will be but this should make for a very fun pairing.
