So at the end of the trailer for Countdown there is a log line that reads: “Death? There’s an App For That.” That should tell you what kind of movie you’re getting with this latest horror effort.

The film presents a new kind of horror monster: an app that can predict exactly when people are going to die. In the film, written and directed by Justin Dec, we follow Elizabeth Lail as Quinn, a young nurse who downloads the app, only to discover that she has just three days left to live. The film also stars Peter Facinelli, Jordan Calloway, Talitha Bateman, Tichina Arnold & P.J. Byrne.

Countdown opens on October 25. Check out the official poster below.
