Coming Soon: The Boys Season 2

Fans of The Boys got a BIG surprise during today’s San Diego Comic-Con@Home panel – a new jam-packed trailer for Season 2 and the announcement of a Season 3 renewal. Based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys gained its audience on Amazon Prime Video during season 1 and fans want more.

The first look allows fans to pick up right where they left off – specifically with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the rest of the Boys on the run. Homelander (Antony Starr) and the remaining Seven are right on their tail.

The full synopsis:

In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.

Watch the trailer to see superpowers abound, several expected deaths, a lot of blood, and new plans rise.

The Boys Season 2 premieres September 4, 2020.
