The level of anticipation hit a high on Monday as Netflix released the trailer for Selena: The Series, which aims to tell the story of Selena Quintanilla Perez, whose journey toward becoming the “Queen of Tejano music” is both inspiring and tragic. Created by Moisés Zamora, with Don Todd consulting, Netflix’s new and inspiring look at Selena’s life and career stars Christian Serratos as Selena, with Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira, Noemí Gonzalez, and Seidy López also starring.
