Salt and Fire premiered earlier this year at the Shanghai International Film Festival and tells the story of two ecologists, Laura (Veronica Ferres) and Fabio (Gael Garcia Bernal) who travel to Bolivia to research a possible volcanic eruption. They are soon kidnapped by a CEO Matt Riley (Michael Shannon) who has plans of his own. Ultimately, both sides must unite to stop the volcano. It opens in French theaters December 7th and in the U.S. next year.
