Defending Jacob is an upcoming American crime drama miniseries premiering on April 24th on Apple TV+. Starring Chris Evans (Captain America), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), and Jaeden Martell (It, Knives Out), the miniseries tells the story of assistant district attorney Andy Barber (Evans), who becomes wrapped up in a murder that rocks a small town. For him, it’s more personal, when the prime suspect turns out to be his own son (Martell). The show is based on a book by the same name by William Landay.
The supporting cast includes Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, Sakina Jaffrey, and J.K. Simmons.
The show will kick off on the streamer on April 24th with three initial episodes, followed by once a week after that for a total of eight. Currently, Apple TV+ is offering a 7-day free trial, following $4.99 after that.
