Next up for The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel and Will Smith is December’s Collateral Beauty.
The film gives a new spin on an old classic, It’s a Wonderful Life. Smith stars as a once-successful businessman, who falls into a deep depression. His friends, played by Edward Norton, Kate Winslet, and Michael Pena, grow concerned for him after discovering that he writes letters to themes like love and death. The impossible occurs and he is visited by Love, Time, and Death played by Kiera Knightley, Jacob Latimore, and Helen Mirren, and Smith’s character learns to live again.
Collateral Beauty hits theaters December 16th just in time to rival Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
