As a fan of the hit Broadway Aladdin musical on Broadway, I, for one was hoping for the genie to resemble its Broadway counterpart. However, that will not be the case as Disney has released a new look at their live-action remake of Aladdin and Will Smith is blue, very blue.

This second teaser follows the first that was released in October, while a bunch of first-look images  were released in December of last year. Fans craved for a blue genie and what they got is truly terrifying as Will Smith resembles Dwayne The Rock Jonson in The Mummy Returns.

The live-action Aladdin adaptation is expected to follow much of the same story from the 1992 animated classic, much like the rest of the live-action projects that Disney has coming up. 2019 will also see the release of Dumbo, Aladdin, and The Lion King.
