CinemaCon Sony Presentation: Ghostbusters & Venom Sequels Announced While Bad Bunny Is Set To Star In Marvel’s El Muerto

Sony kicked off this years CinemaCon with some huge announcements regarding their future slate. Along with showing the first 15 minutes of the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Sony announced that a third entry in the Venom series is on the way. In a brilliant business move & yet a headscratcher of a creative move, Bad Bunny has been cast as the lead in El Muerto. On one hand, it’s great to finally see the first Latin superhero film in the Marvel universe, on the other, few, if any know much about this character and without Kevin Feige at the helm, it will be hard to even get excited for this project.

Another project that received exclusive footage was Bullet Train, which received praise for the films first few minutes.

In sequel news I can certainly get behind, a follow up to the successful Ghostbusters: Afterlife is on the way. With the box office success of the previous entry, this is not a huge surprise.
