Christopher Nolan’s Next Film Will Focus On The Development Of The Atom Bomb

Christopher Nolan remains one of the best directors working today. When a film of his arrives, there is constant excitement for cinephiles. On Thursday, Deadline broke the news regarding his next project and I, for one am quite excited for it.  Deadline has reported that it will take place during World War II and revolve around J. Robert Oppenheimer’s development of the atom bomb.

The big news is that the film may not come from the studio has had a relationship for 2 plus decades. Deadline has heard that several major studios are reading the screenplay and are speaking with Nolan about making the movie. It’s not known if Warner Bros. is one of those studios, but it’s clearly no longer a given that Nolan’s project will land there. The project is thought to be similiar to Dunkirk with a sprawling ensemble cast, and Deadline has heard that Nolan collaborator Cillian Murphy might be involved.
