Chris Evan’s is little under a year away from saying goodbye to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, that does not mean that Evans doesn’t have other projects lined up.
Chris Evans is giving up his Captain American persona to star in Neill Blomkamp’s next film, Greenland. The film is about one family’s fight for survival in the face of a cataclysmic natural disaster.
News about the film comes out of Cannes, which is currently taking place in France. Anton’s CEO Sebastien Raybaud stated,
“When we read Greenland, we knew it was exactly the sort of film we wanted to make as we build the Anton brand – smart, character driven genre with action and heart. We are very excited to work alongside our friends at STX with such exceptional talent as Neill Blomkamp, Chris Evans and Basil Iwanyk.”
Greenland will be Evan’s first feature film after Avengers 4, which releases May 2019.
