Charlie’s Angels Reboot Directed by Elizabeth Banks Gets 2019 Release

A new Charlie’s Angels reboot is in the works with director Elizabeth Banks at the helm of the project. Sony just announced a summer release date for the remake. It is expected to hit theaters on June 7, 2019. No cast has been set yet. The last big-screen version of Charlie’s Angels was in 2000 with Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Drew Barrymore, with a sequel in 2003.
