CBS Dramas Lead Friday Night For The Network

With Last Man Standing taking a week off on FOX, CBS was able to lead the way in the ratings on Friday night.

On CBS, MacGyver easily leads the pack in its time slot among non-sporting events.  It also picked up a full one-tenth of a point in the 18-49 demographic, landing at a 0.8 demo rating and 6.47 million viewers. This is a stronger position than it held for its two previous airings. Hawaii Five-O held its gains from the most recent new episode, at the same 0.8 rating and 7.39 million viewers, while Blue Bloods slipped, scoring the same as the two dramas that aired before it with 0.8 demo score and 8.48 million viewers, down from its previous 0.9.

On NBC, Dateline held its 0.5 rating and 2.89 million viewers, as did Midnight, Texas at a 0.4 demo score and 1.89 million viewers. Blindspot managed to rise from a 0.4 to a 0.5 demo rating and 2.65 million viewers. The gains for Blindspot were more in line with the series’ previous scores.

On The CW, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend matched the 0.2 demo score and 520,000 viewers from its last episode, which adjusted up to in the finals. Dynasty similarly stayed at a 0.2 demo rating and 710,000 viewers, the same as its previous rating.
