One of the CW’s biggest shows is about to lose one of their stars. Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco on The Flash, is reportedly leaving The CW series after season 5. Valdes has been a series regular since the beginning of the DC TV show, and first played the character in a season 2 episode of Arrow, where he appeared alongside Danielle Panabaker’s Caitlin Snow.
According to Discussing Film, Valdes will not return to The Flash in season 6. The reason for the departure is based on Valdes’ background in Broadway. If the rumor holds to be true, Valdes is planning on leaving The Flash to resume his Broadway career. The door will still be open for him to return in a lesser capacity, but he will no longer be a series regular.
