Bumblebee Writer Working On Batgirl Script.

It looks like the Batgirl movie is getting back on track. Bumblebee writer, Christina Hodson, has been brought on to work on the script.

Joss Whedon was originally involved with the script and directing duties on deck but he stepped away from the project last year. Hodon, in addition to writing the Transformers spinoff Bumblebee, also wrote the not too well-received thriller Unforgettable starring Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson.

Getting a new writer puts the film back on track but this is still the early stages and the film is still being developed. It’s unclear who will take on directing duties at this time.
