In 2017, there is no question that nostalgia has given Hollywood a new lease on life thanks to a slew of revivals. Shows like Gilmore Girls and Full House have been not only been brought back to the small screen, but the shows have been quite successful. It seems like studios have been making the effort to bring back old franchises to the small screen. As Buffy The Vampire Slayer celebrates its 20th anniversary, one would think this should be the next show to be revived.Speaking to Parade, David Boreanaz was asked about his tenure with Buffy. When the star was questioned about a possible Buffy revival, here is what Boreanaz had to say:
“No, never; that’s done, see ya, next. I have no problem with the cult audience, and I would totally get back into the genre, but I’m not a big reunion guy. I tend to like to go forward. I don’t like to go backward—except when I’ve got ice skates on my feet and I’m playing hockey,”.
Unfortunately, this is not great news, however if the price is right, it would not shock me to see this extremely popular show be brought back to life.
