Bridget Regan Cast As Poison Ivy In Batwoman Season 3

This should excite fans of the rouges gallery in the Bat-verse. Bridget Regan of Marvel’s Agent Carter has signed on to play Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy on the series.

For those unfamiliar with the character,

Pamela Isley is a former botany student of Gotham University described as a “passionate, brilliant scientist with a mind for changing the world for the better.” However, when she’s experimented on by a colleague and injected with various plant toxins, she’s turned into iconic DC villain Poison Ivy. “With a formidable power coursing through her veins, Pamela used her powers to do what she thought was right, even if Batman and those closest to her disagreed with her dangerous methods,” reads the description. “Now effectively wiped off the board for years, Batwoman and the Bat Team must prepare themselves for Poison Ivy to return with a vengeance.

In addition to Agent Carter, Bridget Regan has also appeared in shows such as Legend of the Seeker, White Collar, Jane the Virgin, The Last Ship, and Paradise LostBatwoman season 3 stars Javicia Leslie, who took over the title role from Ruby Rose. The third season will debut on The CW on October 13, 2021.
