Blindspot Renewed For Season Four At NBC

After a relatively successful move to Friday nights, Blindspot has been renewed for a fourth season at NBC.

While not a strong live performer, Blindspot has been remarkably consistent and has an established fan base. Additionally, at last year’s renewal, NBC reportedly negotiated a license fee reduction, so the series, starring Sullivan Stapleton and Jaimie Alexander, had been profitable for the network. And it certainly has been very profitable for the studio with strong international sales and a Netflix SVOD deal. Just another prime example that there is more to the story than live ratings.

The series also posts impressive DVR gains, with its 0.6 demo rating surging to a 1.7 with seven days of DVR.
