Why You Should Binge: How To Get Away With Murder, which began in 2014 & is currently in its final season, follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defense professor who become involved in a twisted murder plot that promises to change the course of their lives. Murder is the central theme of each season & kudos to the writers for not letting a one season idea turn completely convoluted. You might wonder how these characters find themselves in these situations but the narrative threads are convincing enough that you buy into it. The salacious nature of the show gets a dash of class from Oscar winner Viola Davis who, with Annalise Keating, crafts one of the most complex & visceral characters to hit the small screen. Davis took home awards for her portrayal on this series as well & it’s much deserved as she’s the captain of this twist & turn ship that is full of surprises. Check it out before the final season wraps in 5 weeks with just 5 more episodes set to air before it all ends!
