It looks like Bad Boys 3 will indeed be released. While there is no plot details, we do know is that the film will be titled Titled Bad Boys for Life, and will bring back both Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, with director Joe Carnahan taking over for Michael Bay. The change in director could mean a different style and aesthetic of the film. Exhibitor Relations tweeted the following in regards to title change and release date:
Sony's BAD BOYS 3 is now titled BAD BOYS FOR LIFE–and will NOT be released next summer, instead drops January 12, 2018.
