Avengers: Endgame To Be Re-Released With New Footage

It looks as though Avengers: Endgame might be able to beat Avatar‘s all-time box office record after all. While The film has lost the majority of its momentum by now, almost two months after its initial release,  it’s about to get another major boost to ticket sales.

The reason for the boos will be in part to the released of Spider-Man: Far From Home arriving in theaters in July., but also Avengers: Endgame is hitting theaters for a second round, along with some additional footage that didn’t make it into the official cut in April.

First reported by Comicbook.com, Brandon Davis spoke exclusively with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who confirmed that Avengers: Endgame was heading back to the big screen for a theatrical re-release. Feige said, “We are doing that…I don’t know if it’s been announced. And I don’t know how much… Yeah, we’re doing it next weekend.”

This could in fact the bump the film needs to become the highest grossing film of all time.
