Avengers: Endgame Scores Record $60 Million In Thursday Night Previews

After starting its box office dominance overseas, Avengers: Endgame finally opened in the States & it’s already shattering box office records.

Endgame grossed $60 Million In Thursday night previews which represents the biggest Thursday preview number ever. The figure shatters the $57 million preview numbers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Fifty-percent of Force Awakens’ Friday came from Thursday previews, so it wouldn’t be a shocker if the Russo Brothers-directed sequel lands the best opening day of all-time with $120 million-plus beating Star Wars Episode VII‘s $119.1 million but we’ll have to wait & see exactly how front-loaded the film is.

Endgame previews started an hour earlier than Infinity War‘s which were at 7 PM. That film’s $39 million Thursday repped 37% of its Friday ($106.3 million) which resulted in the biggest domestic opening weekend of all-time with $257.6 million. Many believe Endgame will easily  break that record.
