Artemis Fowl (Teaser Trailer)

Director Kenneth Branagh has a new tale to tell and it involves fairies, a 12-year-old criminal mastermind, and Dame Judi Dench. The tale in question is Artemis Fowl, based on the young-adult novels from author Eoin Colfer and now we have a new teaser trailer courtesy of Disney.

Kenneth Branagh has been developing this adaptation for quite some time and now the fruits of his labor are coming to fruition. The teaser takes us to the seaside home of Artemis Fowl II, played by newcomer Ferdia Shaw, who is the descendant of a long line of criminals and he’s on a mission to find his missing father.

Artemis Fowl also stars Lara McDonnell, Tamara Smart, and Josh Gad and features a screenplay by Irish playwright Conor McPherson. The film hits screens on August 9, 2019. Check out the official poster for the film below:
