Another Alien Prequel? Ridley Scott Wrote It Already

According to director Ridley Scott in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, he’s ready for the next Alien film. He’s prepared to capitalize on the success of the upcoming Alien: Covenant and has written a script for the next part in his prequel saga. The plan is for there to be four films total. Scott stated,

“You’ve got to assume to a certain extent success and from that you’d better be ready. You don’t want a two-year gap. So I’ll be ready to go again next year.

He’s excited to continue with the series and if moviegoers are game, he plans on “cranking it for another six. I’m not going to close it down again.”

Alien: Covenant hits theaters on May 19, 2017.
