The most popular children’s show has set a release date for its film. Warner Bros. and MGM’s Sesame Street starring Anne Hathaway is set to hit theaters Jan. 15, 2021.
Sesame Street will begin shooting in June and is expected to include appearances from Sesame Street residents Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster. The film is also slated to be a musical. Chris Galletta wrote the most recent draft of the screenplay.
