‘American Horror Story’ Renewed for Season 7

American Horror Story lives on. FX’s hit horror series has been renewed for a seventh season that will debut September 2017. Will it continue to season 8? Creator Ryan Murphy sure hopes so. Last week, he revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he’s planning a “secret” season that would air after Season 7. Murphy stated,

“I’ve been working with a writer on a season that only he and I know. It’s like a two-year project that we’ll continue to work on the sly and not tell anybody. I don’t know when it will [air] but it’s also an experiment. It’s a different way of doing it. It’s one person writing all episodes.”

The series renewal comes about a month into its current sixth season. The premiere drew in about 13 million viewers, the series’ third biggest bow behind American Horror Story: Freak Show and American Horror Story: Hotel.

What do you think season 7 and 8 will be about?
