A Secret Film Directed By David Lynch Will Premiere At The Cannes Film Festival

Last week, Film twitter began to speculate around a tweet stating that a director with a distinguished resume on film and television will have a film at this years Cannes Film Festival. On Monday, Variety may have confirmed that the director in question is none other than Academy Award nominee David Lynch. Variety has confirmed,

According to two well-informed sources, there will even be a David Lynch feature film which has been completely off the radar and stars Laura Dern — either as a cameo or a supporting role — along with some other Lynch regulars.

David Lynch’s last film Inland Empire is currently receiving a small theatrical re-release. No word on what the film is titled or premise, however, Cannes will reveal its lineup on Thursday so cinephiles should find out soon.
