A Quiet Place Part II (Super Bowl TV Spot)

Paramount Pictures has dropped their Super Bowl spot for A Quiet Place Part II a couple of days ahead of the big game and the teaser reveals a big surprise for the highly anticipated sequel.

SPOILER ALERT AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN A QUIET PLACE!!!!!

The big surprise in the new spot is that John Krasinski actually makes an appearance in the sequel. If you recall, his character didn’t make it until the end of the first film but from the looks of this footage, it may be showing events before we met the family in the first film and before the threat came to town.

In the original film, Krasinski starred opposite his wife Emily Blunt, also returning for the sequel, as a mother-father team named Evelyn and Lee Abbott. The couple fought to protect their children and their home from the mutant monsters that now dominate Earth and hunt their prey with their enhanced hearing. The only way to stay alive is to stay silent.

Krasinski wrote the script for the sequel and also returns to direct as well. Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe also return as the Abbott children while Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou portray two mysterious characters who live beyond the Abbott home.

A Quiet Place Part II hits screens on March 20.
