A Million Little Things Slips On Thursday On ABC

ABC is still getting solid numbers from Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday night but its lead-out, A Million Little Things, continues to slip from its season premiere numbers.

On ABC, A Million Little Things ticked down from its previous 0.8 to a 0.7 demo rating and 4.05 million viewers. A Million Little Things began its second season in the 1.0 demo range and has steadily declined to this point. Grey’s Anatomy began their night and was also down from its previous 1.4 demo rating to a 1.2 demo score and 5.75 million viewers. Despite the dip, it was still the top scripted series of the night in the demo. How To Get Away With Murder also slipped to a 0.4 demo rating, down a tenth week to week, and 2.10 million viewers.

On NBC, Superstore held steady with yet another 0.8 demo rating, and hit a new season-high in total viewers (2.99 million). Perfect Harmony (0.4, 2.12 million viewers), The Good Place (0.6, 2.02 million viewers), and Law & Order: SVU (0.6, 3.46 million viewers) all matched their ratings from a week ago as well, as did Sunnyside (0.3, 1.20 million viewers). Sunnyside aired its final episode to be shown on TV as it’s being shifted online and pulled from NBC’s schedule due to low ratings.

On CBS, Young Sheldon was steady week to week with a 1.0 demo rating and 7.94 million viewers. The Unicorn (0.7, 5.23 million viewers) and Mom (0.8, 5.81 million viewers) stayed even with their last outings. Carol’s Second Act (0.7, 5.08 million viewers) and Evil (0.7, 3.74 million viewers) capped off the night for the network by ticking up a tenth week to week. I’m thinking that the new series airing on Thursday’s on CBS may be close to full-season orders as they have been really steady since premiering.

On The CW, Supernatural came down a tenth week to week to a 0.3 demo rating and 1.16 million viewers. Legacies ended their night and matched its 0.3 demo rating from last week and scored 820,000 total viewers.

Recapping Thursday ratings, although it was a mixed bag of upticks and downticks, I’m going to say CBS is a bit of a winner this week because of its steady performance. The CW’s Thursday is also looking good with relatively steady showings from its lineup.
