A Black Lady Sketch Show Renewed for Season 2 at HBO

HBO is committing to more of A Black Lady Sketch Show. The network has handed out a second season renewal to the variety show. Amy Gravitt, HBO exec vp programming stated,

“It’s been thrilling to see the audience embrace the characters that Robin, Ashley, Gabrielle and Quinta have brought to life,”

“We had a blast making this groundbreaking sketch show with Robin, Dime and all of the writers and producers, and I can’t wait to see what next season holds.”

The pickup arrives after the series launched August 2nd and received strong reviews.
