Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first standalone film outside of the episode series and it will have a different format (like no opening crawl), and a much different tone (a darker war film) than the main episode installments. With that being said, will this film based on its differences have a post credit scene?
There is NO mid-credits or end-credits scene attached to Rogue One. The film is meant to fill in gaps about the events that led to Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. There is no need for any post credit scene as we already have Episodes IV-VI to answer any questions fans may have after watching the film.
