The NFL Draft, which had multi-network coverage, made other shows take a significant hit and the season 3 premiere of Quantico was especially affected.
On ABC, the premiere scored a 0.5 demo rating and 2.76 million viewers. This was way below the average that How to Get Away With Murder was getting but it won’t be fair to judge the numbers until next week when the Draft won’t be a factor. As of now, its demo score ties its series low. Grey’s Anatomy hit a series low of 1.4 in the demo and 6.46 million viewers due to the competition and Station 19 also hit a season low with a 0.9 demo rating and 5.17 million viewers.
On NBC, aside from Champions (even with last week’s 0.4, 1.53 million viewers), all of their original shows fell a tenth of a point vs. last week: Superstore (0.7, 2.85 million viewers), AP Bio (0.5, 1.77 million viewers) and Chicago Fire (0.9, 5.41 million viewers).
On CBS, The Big Bang Theory hit a series low with a 1.9 demo rating and 11.52 million viewers. Young Sheldon also came down to a season-low with a 1.7 demo rating and 11.01 million viewers. Mom (1.3, 8.46 million viewers) and SWAT (0.8, 5.25 million viewers) came down a tenth apiece. Life In Pieces, however, remained steady week to week with a 1.0 demo rating and 6.29 million viewers.
On The CW, both of their shows came down a tenth with Supernatural hitting a 0.4 demo rating and 1.48 million viewers and Arrow scoring a 0.3 demo rating and 910,000 viewers.
