Way back when, Martin Freeman had a quick cameo in Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead. Fast forward to 2018 and Freeman will be headlining his very own zombie movie. That film is Cargo, and the trailer for the film has been released.
Cargo is directed by Yolanda Ramke and Ben Howling, and it’s a remake of the pair’s 2013 short film of the same name. That short which can currently be viewed on Youtube has over 14 million views and was also a finalist at the Tropfest short film festival. The film’s trailer brought back memories of the 2015 zombie horror film, Maggie. First seen at the Tribeca Film Festival, the film is a call back to when zombie films were done very well and was a sleeper of 2015.
