Despite next year’s Oscars airing earlier than it has ever before – Sunday, February 9th, the Academy is returning to its late February tradition in 2021 and 2022 letting every cinephile and studio breathe a sigh of relief. The earlier 2020 date is causing panic as of late among awards players, especially when it comes to planning awards campaigning and film releases.
