The rights to Linda and Monica, a script detailing the relationship between Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp, has found its home. Amazon Studios has picked up the upcoming script.
Written by Flint Wainess and featured on the 2016 Black List, the script follows the true story of the relationship between Lewinsky and Tripp, the women involved in potentially taking down the Clinton presidency. Tripp and Lewinsky were both friends when they both worked in public affairs at the Pentagon. Tripp secretly recorded phone conversations with Lewinsky that detailed her sexual relationship with President Bill Clinton. The tapes were eventually leaked in which Tripp claimed that her motives were patriotic.
