Felicity Jones next film will have her playing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in an upcoming biopic On the Basis of Sex.
Based on Ginsburg’s numerous fights for equal rights throughout her career, the film will begin shooting in September in Montreal Canada. Ginsberg was appointed to the Supreme Court by President William Clinton in 1993 becoming the second female justice after Sandra Day O’Connor and the first Jewish justice.
Natalie Portman was previously attached to play Ginsberg. No word yet on an official release date but we estimate late 2018.
