Stranger Things 3 Will Only Have 8 Episodes

Stranger Things is not just one of the best tv shows at the moment, but has become a world wide phenomenon. Fans of the show have been wondering when season 3 would premiere and how many episodes season 3 would be. It looks like Stranger Things 3 will go back to eight episodes for season three, first reported by TVLine.

Stranger Things stars Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo and Sadie Sink, will lose an episode for the upcoming season as Season two featured nine episodes on Netflix. Along with cutting down back to episodes,  Matt Duffer previously revealed that there would be a year time jump as well.

“Even if we wanted to hop into the action faster, we couldn’t,” he shared. “Our kids are aging. We can only write and produce the show so fast. They’re going to be almost a year older by the time we start shooting Season 3… [so] it forces you to do a time jump.”

While waiting for Season 3 to premiere, fans can rewatch Season 1 and 2 on Netflix.
