Runaways Earns Second Season Renewals at Hulu

After premiering at New York Comic Con, Marvel’s Runaways was released on Hulu on Thanksgiving weekend. Now that all the episodes are available on the streaming service, Hulu has renewed Runaways for a second season.The second season of the show will be 13 episodes.

Unlike Amazon and Netflix, Hulu does not release their viewership numbers. Despite that, Runaways has received positive reviews and is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 83. The show comes from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and is based on Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona’s comic series.

The renewal also keeps Marvel at Hulu as most of their shows are either on Netflix, ABC, and Fox. Runaways will be a part of Marvel’s 2018 line-up that will include Freeform’s Cloak and Dagger, FX’s Legion, Fox’s The Gifted, Agents of SHIELD and Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.
