The Rock and Vin Diesel Feud a Rumored WWE Work

A few weeks back there were rumblings about a feud between Fast 8 co-stars Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel.

A report by Life & Style states that while their on-set rivalry had “some truth” to it, it looks like they could be building it to a WWE Wrestlemania 33 match. An insider said, “they are playing a huge prank, and it’s all for publicity.”

Johnson, who is known for his start in the WWE  as the infamous character “The Rock” reportedly came up with the idea to help promote Fast 8. As a cross promotion for both the film and WWE, it would be a way to draw fans of the film to subscribe to the WWE network and view their biggest event of the year.
